Dr. Jennifer Gibson is the owner and principal of Excalibur Scientific. She is a pharmacist, medical writer, editor, and lecturer. During her career, she has worked for the pharmaceutical industry, medical education leaders, genomics research and DNA sequencing laboratories, and the non-profit sector. Jennifer uses her work to advocate for safe and effective medication use in all dimensions of health, fitness and wellness. Her work appears in international academic journals, textbooks, newspapers and magazines, and health-related blogs.
Jennifer is a graduate of Clemson University, with a degree in Biochemistry, and she earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical College of Virginia School of Pharmacy at Virginia Commonwealth University. She lives with her husband and two sons in Atlanta. When she is not working, she enjoys running, reading, and traveling, as well as volunteering with organizations that support children and families. She is a member of the American Medical Writers Association.
